Q How do I  get my tests done?                                                                                                                                    top

A. You can get your tests done by simply giving your  blood/urine/stool/sputum

     Sample, either personally in the lab or at your residence/office.

 

Q Where can I give the sample?                                                                                                                                      top

A. You can give the sample either directly in the lab, or a blood sample can be collected from your residence/office with a prior appointment.

Q How to book a home collection?                                                                                                                                 top

A. Just call  93 111 93 111 or 011 – 5163 4173. & furnish the following details :-

·        Your name address & contact number,

·        Tests reqested,

·        Your preferred time & date for tests.

And the reception will confirm you the collection details.

 

Q When can I get my tests done?                                                                                                                                        top

A. You can get your tests whenever you want because we are open 24 hours a

    day, 7 days a week & 365 days a year.

 

Q Do I need to be fasting for blood tests?                                                                                                                            top

A. Not all tests require fasting, but majority of test do.

     Of the most frequently prescribed tests ,

(1)   The following require fasting :-

·        Blood Sugar (Fasting)

·        Liver Function Test

·        Kidney Function Test

·        Lipid Profile

·        ESR

(2)   The following tests do not require fasting :-

·        Thyroid Function Test

·        HbA1c / Glycosylated Haemoglobin

·        Haemoglobin

·        TLC, DLC

·        Hormones like FSH, LH, Prolactin.

Q How to prepare fasting state?                                                                                                                                            top

A. Most tests require an overnight fasting (of 8 hours) but some require 12 hours fasting also. Fasting is measured from the time of last meal to the time of sample collection & only water can be consumed during the period. Tea, coffee & beverages are also not permitted.

     Please enquire the fasting duration required for your tests from the lab.

 

Q.  How can I collect my report?                                                                                                                                         top

A.  The reports can be received by :-

·        By hand, from the lab

·        Courier,

·        Internet,

·        Fax

·        telephone

There is no extra charge for these facilities.

The schedule for report delivery for the prescribed tests can be enquired at the time of sample collection.

 

Q. How to make the payment?                                                                                                                                            top

A.  Payment can be made in advance or at the time of report collection.

    Reports over the phone, fax, internet or courier is available only for reports with no pending dues.  

 

Q How can I avail the credit facility?                                                                                                                                    top

A Credit facility is available to few corporates who have entered a MoU with us and allow there beneficiaries a credit facility such as CGHS, Indian Airlines, BHEL etc.

Exact details for the procedure can be obtained from the lab.

 

Q. What is the procedure for working CGHS beneficiaries?                                                                                                top

A.  CGHS beneficiaries currently in service, (except of Ministry of Health, CGHS wing) will have to make the payment on their own to the lab and the same amount will be reimbursed to them by their respective office.
