When sample collections often followed limited morning hours and reports required a return visit, Dr. Pramod Bhasin envisioned a different kind of laboratory—one combining automation, around-the-clock operations, home collection and electronic reporting.
With Mrs. Aarti Bhasin, he established Dr. Bhasin’s Lab at S-13, Greater Kailash-I, on 23 January 2000. The technology has changed over the years; the patient-first philosophy remains.

Dr. Pramod Bhasin recognised the opportunities that emerging automated diagnostic technologies offered. He wanted to build a laboratory that would rethink the entire patient experience, from sample collection to report delivery.
Mrs. Aarti Bhasin was an integral founding partner, contributing across business, administration, strategic development and patient service.
Together, they established principles of accuracy, empathy, integrity and accessibility that continue to shape the organisation.
The inauguration at Greater Kailash-I was a landmark moment for the founding family. These authentic photographs preserve the original entrance, ceremony and early introductions to laboratory technology.

Before the move to S-35, the original facility was the home of the laboratory's early patient services and analytical workflows.

Dr. Bhasin’s Lab adopted automated laboratory systems and digital reporting workflows in its founding period. The historical equipment collection captures that early commitment. Instrument-specific labels should be verified against equipment records before publication.
