Dr Bhasin's Lab is a doctor-led, family-owned CGHS pathology lab at S-35, Hansraj Gupta Road, Greater Kailash-I, New Delhi 110048. We have looked after families in Delhi NCR for over two decades, and we are listed among the CGHS empanelled labs in Delhi NCR since 2001.

CGHS

CGHS pensioners

Your tests can be cashless, and you can have them at home. Send us two photos and we take it from there.

Five steps for CGHS pensioners: send your card and referral, we check your documents, choose home or centre, we handle the OTP call and geotagged photo, then the sample is collected and your report follows. Cashless for eligible CGHS pensioners.

Your 5 simple steps

You send. We check and arrange the rest.

  1. Send card + referral. Send us clear photos of your CGHS card and the prescription or referral for the tests, on WhatsApp to 93111 93111.
  2. We check for you. Our CGHS team checks your documents before collection. If something is missing or needs sorting out with CGHS first, you hear it from us now, not at the door.
  3. Home or centre. Choose home collection, or visit us at S-35, Hansraj Gupta Road, Greater Kailash-I, New Delhi 110048.
  4. We handle verification. When your collection is due, we call you from 011-49989898 for the CGHS OTP, and our authorised staff take the required geotagged photograph at your home or at the lab.
  5. Sample collected. Your sample is collected and tested at our lab, and your report follows on WhatsApp, on our patient portal or as a printed copy.

Cashless for pensioners

CGHS pensioners with a green-strip card are among the beneficiaries who always receive cashless treatment. We offer cashless service to every eligible CGHS beneficiary, so you do not need to learn claim rules or portals. That part is our job.

CGHS

Serving CGHS cardholders

Cashless eligibility and getting CGHS rates are not the same thing. Send us your card and we will tell you which applies.

Flow for serving CGHS beneficiaries: show your CGHS card, get tested, pay as per CGHS rates, collect receipt, and get full reimbursement from your office as per CGHS rules or departmental policy. Certain categories, including CGHS, MoHFW, UPSA, Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, ICAR and IASRI, may be entitled to cashless service with current ID card, CGHS card and prescription.

For most serving employees, the answer is CGHS rates: you pay the CGHS rate and claim it back from your department in the usual way. Serving staff of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, CGHS and DGHS, and their dependants, can be cashless. Either way, the process with us is just as simple.

CGHS rate reimbursement flow

  1. Show your CGHS card.
  2. Get tested at home or at the centre.
  3. Pay as per CGHS rates.
  4. Collect your receipt.
  5. Get full reimbursement from your office as per CGHS rules or departmental policy.

At our lab, please bring your CGHS card as well as your activated CAPF card, printed or on your phone, and a referral from a CAPF hospital, a government hospital or a CGHS wellness centre. Dependants over 75 do not need a referral.

Your report

Reports are issued by MD doctors. Read yours on WhatsApp, use our patient portal for a CGHS lab report download whenever you need it, or ask for a printed copy at home. Printed report delivery is free, with no minimum bill.

Your Tests. Our Responsibility.

We are a doctor-led, family-owned lab. One team checks your papers, collects your sample, completes the CGHS steps, tests it and stands behind the report. If anything needs sorting out, you call one number and a real person helps you.

What to keep ready

Keep your card, prescription or referral and registered phone nearby. We will guide you with anything else.

Three things to keep ready: your CGHS card, plus your CAPF card if you are a CAPF beneficiary, your prescription or referral, and your registered phone for the OTP call.
  • Your CGHS card, plus your CAPF card if you are a CAPF beneficiary, with all details visible. A plastic or paper CGHS card is fine, or the e-card on your phone, as long as the validity is clearly shown.
  • Prescription or referral, showing the tests advised. A downloaded copy or a clear photo is fine for our check.
  • Registered phone, for the OTP call, where required. This is the number linked to your CGHS card; if it has changed, your CGHS wellness centre can update it.

CGHS

Secure OTP and geotagged photo

A routine CGHS step. We handle it for you.

For CGHS OTP verification, we call only from 011-49989898. CGHS sends a one-time password to your registered mobile, and you read it out to us. The code lasts only a few minutes, so we ask for it at the time of your test, never days before.

Our authorised staff take the required geotagged photograph during the home or centre collection process.

  • At home or at our lab, wherever your sample is collected.
  • The photo is taken by our authorised staff as part of the collection visit.
  • The photo is geotagged (it records the location), as CGHS requires.

If your own phone is not to hand, CGHS allows an attendant's mobile number in exceptional cases; just ask us. And if you ever get a CGHS message for a test you did not have, tell the CGHS Additional Director's office where your card is registered.

We call only from 011-49989898. Never share your OTP with anyone else.

These are CGHS steps. For CAPF, we follow whatever that scheme asks for.

CGHS verification: a phone showing an incoming call from 011-49989898, an OTP, a shield with a tick, and icons for home, camera and location. Warning: we call only from 011-49989898; never share your OTP with anyone else.

What should I photograph and send?

Take a clear photo of these details and send it to us. We will tell you if anything else is needed. Lay the card or paper flat, use good light and keep all edges in view.

CGHS rates

You pay CGHS rates for every test on the CGHS list that we do in-house.

If your tests are cashless, we raise the claim and you do not pay for those tests. If you are paying, you pay the CGHS rate. Tests outside the CGHS rate list are charged at our own rates, and we always tell you before collection. As a CGHS panel lab in Delhi, we follow the current official rates, which apply from 13 October 2025. Want to see what else we offer? Browse our tests or our health check-ups.

Common questions

Is Dr Bhasin's Lab CGHS empanelled?

Yes. We have been on the CGHS panel for over two decades, and we are listed in the latest CGHS Delhi and NCR empanelment order. You will find us at S-35, Hansraj Gupta Road, Greater Kailash-I, New Delhi 110048.

Can I get CGHS or Ayushman CAPF blood tests done at home?

Yes. Our team collects samples at home every day from 6 AM to midnight, across South Delhi and the rest of Delhi and NCR. Send us your card and your prescription or referral first, and we will check them before we book your visit.

Is home collection free?

Yes, for bills above a nominal amount. Home collection is our own service rather than a government benefit, and our team will tell you how it applies when you book. Printed report delivery is free, with no minimum bill.

Do I need a CGHS referral or prescription for lab tests?

Yes, in most cases. At a standalone lab like ours, CGHS tests need a referral from your CGHS wellness centre or a government doctor, and some higher-value tests also need a CGHS endorsement. Send us what you have, and we will tell you before collection if anything else is needed.

What should I send before home collection?

A clear photo of your card and your prescription or referral. A digital CGHS card is fine, as CGHS accepts an e-card from the CGHS website, the myCGHS app or DigiLocker, and a downloaded prescription or e-referral works just as well for our check. On the day, keep your registered mobile phone nearby.

Can CGHS pensioners get tests cashless?

Yes. CGHS pensioners with a green-strip card are among the beneficiaries who always receive cashless treatment, and we offer cashless service to every eligible CGHS beneficiary. Send your card and referral first, and we will confirm everything before collection.

I'm a serving Central Government employee. Will my test be cashless, or do I pay CGHS rates?

Most serving employees pay at CGHS rates and claim the amount back from their department. Serving staff of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, CGHS and DGHS, and their dependants, can be cashless. Send us your card and we will tell you which applies to you.

I'm over 70. Do I still need a referral, and is it cashless?

Yes, a standalone lab like ours still needs a referral or prescription, even though you can now see a specialist directly. CGHS asks for a referral from a CGHS or government doctor, or a prescription issued by an empanelled hospital. Pensioners remain cashless, serving dependants pay and claim it back, and the OTP and geotagged photo still apply.

Why do you ask for an OTP, and which number will call me?

CGHS needs an OTP for every cashless claim, and we will only ever call you for it from 011-49989898. The code arrives on your registered mobile and lasts a few minutes, so we ask for it at the time of your test. If anyone calls from a different number asking for a CGHS OTP, do not share it, and call us on 93111 93111.

Why do you take a geotagged photo, and can it be done at home?

CGHS asks for it, and yes, we take it at your home when we collect there. CGHS has told empanelled centres to capture a geotagged photograph at the point of care, which records where and when your test took place. It takes a moment, and it helps protect your card from misuse.

Which tests are charged at CGHS rates, and where can I see the rate list?

Every test on the CGHS rate list that we do in-house is charged at the CGHS rate. Tests outside that list are charged at our own rates, and we tell you before collection. The current official rates apply from 13 October 2025, and you can open the CGHS rates document from this page.

Who can use Ayushman CAPF here?

Serving personnel and their eligible dependants from eight forces. They are Assam Rifles, the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Security Guard (NSG) and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). Ayushman CAPF is run by the Ministry of Home Affairs with the National Health Authority.

Can Ayushman CAPF beneficiaries get cashless lab tests?

Yes, the scheme offers cashless diagnostics at CGHS rates in CGHS-empanelled centres that are signed up with the National Health Authority. You need an activated Ayushman CAPF card and a referral from a CAPF hospital, a government hospital or a CGHS wellness centre. Send us both, and we will confirm how your test will be billed before collection.

Do I need both a CGHS card and an Ayushman CAPF card?

Yes. For Ayushman CAPF tests at our lab, please keep both your CGHS card and your activated Ayushman CAPF card ready, along with your referral. Send us photos of all three on WhatsApp to 93111 93111, and we will check them before collection.

Send your card. We will do the rest.
